The client wanted a water attraction but not a concrete project, so the pool was built from a bolted steel frame and a reinforced liner instead.
This delivery to the Philippines shows how a relocatable pool is assembled, filled and commissioned in a tropical setting.

Why a Steel Frame Pool Was Chosen
A permanent concrete pool means excavation, reinforcement, curing time and planning approval. A frame pool needs a level base, a bolted structure and a liner, and it can be extended or moved if the site changes. For an operator testing water play for the first time, that difference turned a construction project into a seasonal installation.
Assembly Sequence on Site
The frame is laid out and levelled first, then bolted into modules before the liner is fitted and the edges are secured. Getting the base truly flat is the step that decides everything else, because an uneven base loads the liner and the frame unevenly. Filtrering, pump and dosing equipment were installed alongside the pool so commissioning could include a full circulation test.
Filling, Dosing and Water Quality
Once filled, the water was dosed to the target parameters and the circulation was run through a full turnover while readings were logged. Staff were trained to test and record daily rather than to guess, and the fence, depth marking and entry rules were agreed before guests arrived. Those three items – testing, fencing and rules – are what make a water attraction insurable and repeatable.
Operating Through the Wet Season
Tropical rain changes the operating routine: water level control, debris clearing and extra testing after heavy rain. The park keeps a drain plan and a shutdown rule for storms, and the liner is checked monthly for abrasion at the ladder and entry points. Operators adding a second water attraction later often follow the same sequence we set out for our staalraam swembad reeks.
Share the plot and water details and we will come back with a phased water layout: what opens first, what follows, and what each phase costs.
