Water Obstacle Course Specifications
The course is built from modules – climbing walls, Unruhbrücken, runways, slides and jumping platforms – joined into a route that guests complete against the clock. Floating versions are anchored to the bed or the bank and sized for the water area, while fixed versions are installed in pools with permanent fixings. Every installation includes entry and exit points, station spacing for supervision and rule signage visible from the shore.
Turning Water Into a Paid Attraction
Resorts and water parks already own the expensive asset – the water itself. Adding a challenge route increases spend per guest without building a new pool, and it pairs naturally with a wave or slide attraction such as our Wasserspritzpark so families have one wet zone with several products.
Lifeguard Positions and Operating Rules
Supervision decides whether a water course is safe or dangerous. Plan lifeguard stations so every blind spot is covered, define a maximum number of guests on the route at once, and train staff in entry control, timed starts and emergency evacuation. Non swimmers should be screened at the entrance, and age or height rules must be enforced before guests step onto the first module.
Anchoring, Water Quality and Seasonal Care
Anchoring systems must cope with changing water levels, wind and current, so fixings and tension are checked after storms. Water quality management, filtration and testing continue exactly as they would for any pool, and modules built from PVC coated fabric should be cleaned, dried and stored out of direct sun during the off season to protect the seams.
