Non-powered play is the fastest way for an Indonesian operator to open a family attraction, because it needs no mechanical maintenance, no ride operators and no heavy power supply.
This project supplied a complete play area for an Indonesian family attraction, with the equipment mix chosen to suit a tropical site and a modest opening budget.

What the Project Needed
The client was building a family play area rather than a ride park, so the priority was capacity and durability at a low operating cost. The brief asked for equipment that would hold children for an hour, need only visual daily checks, and survive heat, humidity and heavy rain without a maintenance team.
The Equipment Mix We Supplied
The layout combined a slide complex as the anchor, climbing and net elements for older children, and a swing structure plus sand play for younger guests. The pieces were chosen to share one supervising zone so a small team can watch the whole area, and the layout keeps the toddler section closest to the seating where parents wait.
Designing for a Tropical Site
Impact surfacing was specified to drain rather than hold water, and shade was prioritised over the busiest structures and the seating – the two decisions that decide whether a play area is pleasant at midday in Indonesia. Fall heights were recorded on the layout so the park can check surfacing depth on a schedule.
Operating the Area After Handover
The park runs a short opening check on structures and surfacing, keeps two attendants on the zone at peak times, and follows a weekly net, rope and bolt inspection. For operators planning a first phase of this kind, the approach is described in our guide to a non powered amusement park in Indonesia. Fencing follows recognised playground safety principles such as EN 1176.
Made to Fit Your Park
What you can tailor: Equipment mix, colours, theming and phasing.
Twenty years of manufacturing and export stand behind this product, produced in a 125,000-square-metre facility with in-house design, tooling and quality control. Non-powered structures ship with fall height data and surfacing recommendations for every platform and slide exit.
Send your plot plan and surfacing preference – we will return a layout with fall heights, shade strategy and a phased equipment list.
