Slides are the oldest attraction in the world and still the one children run to first, because the reward is immediate and the effort belongs to them.

A well placed slide needs no power, no operator per guest and almost no maintenance, which makes it the most profitable square metres in a non-powered park.

outdoor fiberglass slide in park

Outdoor Fiberglass Slide Specifications

Each slide is a moulded fibreglass chute mounted on a steel support frame, supplied in sections that are joined on site. Lanes can be single or multiple, and the same moulds are used for ground level installations, hillside runs and slides that start from a built platform. Entry sections, side walls, run out and landing distances are calculated for the slope available, and colours or graphics can be matched to the park theme.

Installing on Slopes and Hillsides

Natural terrain is an advantage, not an obstacle. A hillside installation uses the ground for height, which removes the cost of a tall support tower and lets the slide follow the landscape. Where the site is flat, the slide begins from an existing structure such as a climbing castle or a designed platform, which is why a slide is often the first item added to an outdoor non powered playground.

Fibreglass: Why It Suits Tropical Parks

Fibreglass does not corrode in humid air, keeps a smooth surface that stays fast in heat, and can be moulded into curved chutes that metal cannot match. The material is a reinforced composite similar in principle to glass reinforced plastic, so the gel coat is what protects it – inspect for cracks and repair minor damage promptly rather than waiting for the laminate underneath to absorb water.

Run Out, Landing and Daily Checks

Every slide needs a clear run out long enough for the fastest guest and a landing surface matched to the exit speed. Check the entry handrails, the joint bolts between chute sections, the smoothness of the sliding surface and the cleanliness of the landing area each morning, and keep guests from climbing the outside of the chute with side walls high enough to discourage it.

Customization

What you can tailor: Lane count, slide length, colour, graphics, entry platform and support structure.

We quote as the direct equipment manufacturer from a 125,000 square metre production base, so the technical conversation and the commercial one happen in the same place, with 20 years of export projects behind the answer. Non-powered structures ship with fall height data and surfacing recommendations for every platform and slide exit.

Share the site layout and we will produce a zone plan showing structures, surfacing, drainage and the sequence to build them in.
