In a tropical park the equipment is rarely the problem. The heat, the rain and the drainage are.
Design for climate first and the equipment lasts longer, guests stay longer and the maintenance bill drops – which is the opposite of how most parks are planned.

| Drainage | Falls away from play and landing zones |
| Materials | UV stable coatings and corrosion resistant fixings |
| Planting | Non-toxic, low shedding species |
| Maintenance | Monthly corrosion and surfacing checks |

Heat Is the Real Design Constraint
Metal slides become unusable at midday, rubber surfacing softens and families leave before lunch. Shade over the busiest play areas extends usable hours more cheaply than adding equipment, and it protects surfacing from cracking. Prioritise shade over the toddler area, the slide exits and the seating, then extend coverage as revenue allows. Equipment such as our outdoor non powered playground range is specified with tropical installation in mind.
Drainage and the Rainy Season
Water destroys play areas quietly: it lifts tiles, washes away loose fill and rusts fixings from below. Set the falls so that water leaves the play and landing zones rather than pooling in them, include surface drains on the low side of each zone, and design access paths to stay usable after heavy rain. A park that drains well can open within an hour of a tropical downpour.
Materials That Survive Humidity
Humidity attacks fasteners, bearings and painted steel long before it attacks structural members. Specify hot dip galvanised or stainless fixings, powder coated frames and UV stabilised plastic and UV resistant colour finishes, and avoid mixing dissimilar metals where moisture collects. Composite and aluminium components cost more at purchase and much less over ten years of tropical operation.
A Maintenance Calendar for Tropical Sites
Plan maintenance around the climate: monthly corrosion and surfacing checks during the wet season, pre season shade and netting inspection before the busy period, and a post storm walk that checks trees, fixings and drainage. Record everything, because a written log is what proves the park is looked after when an inspector or an insurer asks.
Customization and Site Fit
Everything visible is yours to define: Shade, surfacing, planting and material specifications.
As a direct supplier we control the whole chain: engineering, production, factory testing and export packing all take place inside a 125,000-square-metre production base, and the spare parts list follows the machine to your site. Project work includes layout drawings, phased equipment lists and documentation you can hand straight to a local contractor.
Send your plot plan, budget range and target opening date – we will return a phased proposal you can take straight to your board.
