Installation is a sequence, not a task. Follow it and the machine is running on schedule; skip a step and the delay appears later, usually on opening day.

This is the on site routine we run with local crews, from the first foundation survey to the handover checklist.

Key Specifications

Item Reference
Step 1 Confirm foundations and anchor positions
Step 2 Assemble in the factory sequence
Step 3 Electrical connection and earthing
Step 4 Function and load commissioning
Step 5 Operator and maintenance training
Handover Signed checklist and documentation set

All figures are reference values and are confirmed in the engineering proposal for your site. Commissioning is the formal handover from installation to operation, and it ends with signed records. See commissioning for background.

ride commissioning checks

Foundations and Assembly

The first job on site is not assembly, it is verification: foundations surveyed, anchor bolts checked against the drawing, and the base line confirmed. Assembly then follows the factory sequence, with torque values recorded and photographs taken at each stage so the factory can confirm progress remotely. Local labour usually carries out the work under a factory technician’s supervision.

Electrical Connection and Earthing

Electrical work follows the schematic supplied with the machine: supply, distribution, earthing and control wiring. Earthing is not optional in a tropical site with high rainfall, and every terminal is checked before power is applied for the first time. Cable routing is planned so that it can be inspected later without dismantling the ride.

Commissioning and Load Checks

Commissioning covers start and stop sequences, emergency stops, restraint locking, brake performance, travel limits and a full operating cycle. Where the design requires load testing, it is carried out and recorded before guests board. Lighting, sound and any show programme are commissioned at the same time so the ride opens complete rather than finished later.

Training and Handover

Training happens on the machine: operators on start-up, loading, restraint checks and evacuation, and maintenance staff on the inspection routine, lubrication and wear parts. Handover ends with a signed checklist plus manuals, drawings, schematics and test records. Projects that follow this path – from a park project to a single ride replacement – open on the date planned.

Theme and Finish Options

Make it match your brand: Installation model, supervision level and training scope.

Equipment like this is manufactured, load tested and container loaded at our 125,000 square metre facility by the same ride manufacturer, then backed with spare parts and technical advice long after commissioning. Project work includes layout drawings, phased equipment lists and documentation you can hand straight to a local contractor.

Send your plot plan, budget range and target opening date – we will return a phased proposal you can take straight to your board.
