Not every park can justify a ninety metre wheel, and not every city will approve one – which is exactly the gap a 46 metre wheel fills.
At this height the wheel still becomes the skyline of the park, but the foundations, the footprint and the approval process stay within reach of a privately funded project.

46m Ferris Wheel Specifications
The wheel is a steel structure with a lattice truss rim, twenty six cabins suspended around the circumference, a twin drive arrangement with auxiliary backup and a programmable LED lighting system. Cabin type determines capacity and comfort, from standard seated cabins to themed or semi enclosed designs, and the foundation design follows the soil report and the wind load for the site. At roughly half the height of a landmark wheel, the civil works and the approval route are considerably simpler.
Why 46 Metres Suits City Parks
Height is a planning decision as much as an engineering one. A wheel in this range clears most local limits without a special permit, can be installed on a prepared foundation within a normal construction programme, and still gives guests a view over the whole city. Parks that later want a landmark wheel can step up to a larger model – our 66m ferris wheel follows the same layout logic with a bigger rim and more cabins.
Cabins, Lighting and Ride Duration
Cabins decide the guest experience more than the height does. Choose standard seated cabins for volume, themed cabins for photography, or enclosed cabins for hot and wet climates where air conditioning extends comfortable ride time. Lighting turns the wheel into the park’s night time landmark, so program it as a show and not just as decoration, and set the ride duration so the queue keeps moving at peak hours.
Foundations, Wind Load and Inspection
A wheel concentrates huge loads into a small foundation footprint, so the soil report, anchor bolt layout and concrete design must be completed before fabrication. Wind load governs the structural design of the rim, spokes and cabin hangers, and structural load calculations are supplied with the delivery documentation. Inspection covers the drive, brake, cabin hangers, bolts and the emergency evacuation plan, all on a documented schedule.
Tailoring the Installation
Site-specific choices include: Wheel height, cabin type, lighting programs, drive configuration and station design.
Buying from the factory means dealing with the people who weld the frame and wire the control panel – 20 years of export experience, and a 125,000-square-metre facility that produces, tests and container-loads this equipment. Family rides ship with restraint specifications, cycle profiles and capacity figures for each configuration.
Send your park plan and the age groups you want to serve – we will return a layout with capacity, power requirement and pricing.
