Christmas Self Control Ride Specifications
The ride carries 16 guests in 8 cabins on a 9.3 m rotation diameter, with an overall size of about 12 m by 4.5 m including the fence. Ride time is operator set from zero to five minutes, so the same machine can run short cycles at peak hours and longer cycles during quiet periods. Power requirement is 12 kW on a 380 V supply, which most indoor venues can support without upgrading the incoming supply.
The Ride Experience and Guest Control
Each cabin gives guests a control that changes their height during the rotation, so the motion is different on every lap. That interaction is what keeps children engaged and produces repeat rides, while the low maximum height keeps the ride comfortable for parents and grandparents riding along. Decorative themed bodies can be swapped or replaced seasonally, which makes the same platform usable for Christmas, summer or an anniversary theme.
Siting Indoors and Outdoors
The compact footprint and modest power draw suit shopping malls, family entertainment centres and hotel or resort play areas, as well as outdoor festive zones. Confirm floor loading for the slab, keep the fence clear of fire lanes and escalator landings, and plan the boarding gate so prams can wait without blocking circulation. Outdoors, the ride benefits from a shade structure because the cabins are open.
Electrical Safety and Daily Checks
The drive and control system run on a standard 380 V supply with a variable frequency drive regulating rotation, so cabinet condition, earthing and cable routing belong on the inspection list. Daily checks cover restraint bars, cabin fixings, the control box and the emergency stop; monthly work reviews bearing play, drive gearbox oil and the fence fixings.
