Space travel rides turn a familiar spinner into a story, which is exactly what family entertainment centres need to keep parents returning on weekends.

The ride turns on a 16 m diameter with a total height of only 6.5 m and a lifting height of 5.5 m. Six cabins seat 24 guests and rotate at five to eight revolutions per minute, powered by a 49 kW unit on 380 V. The complete layout, including the boarding area, fits inside 18 m by 18 m and the whole machine weighs about 1,920 kg.

A low structure with gentle lift suits the three-to-ten age bracket, and because each cabin holds several children with a guardian, parents ride too. Because the machine is compact and electrically driven, it suits indoor family entertainment centres, mall atriums and hotel play zones. Confirm the floor loading of the slab, keep a 500 mm clear zone outside the cabin sweep, and position the ride where the ceiling height allows lighting and signage above the orbit.

Cabin doors, restraint bars and the collector ring carry the daily wear, so the start-of-day check covers door interlocks, brushes and the emergency stop. Frames and mast components are finished in galvanised steel protection before painting so humid indoor air does not attack the structure.
