This project installed a 36 seat carousel as the centrepiece of a family zone, with lighting designed for evening trading as well as daytime use.

Platform Layout and Position
The carousel was placed where the main walkways meet, so it becomes the meeting point of the park and the background of most guest photographs. Boarding sits on the quiet side of the platform, and the queue lane is kept separate from the exit so loading and unloading never cross.
Figuren, Finish and Lighting
Figures and trim were specified for outdoor use with UV stable finishes, and the lighting programme was designed for the evening rather than added as decoration. Music and lighting run as one show so the ride reads as a single attraction from a distance.
Installation and Commissioning
Assembly followed the standard sequence: platform en middenkolom, roterend frame en aandrijving, dan cijfers, bekleding en verlichting. Commissioning covered drive, brake, restraint checks and the lighting programme, and staff training covered start-up, loading discipline and shutdown.
Maintenance and Spares
The routine covers the centre bearing, rijden en remmen, platform fixings and the figure and seat connections that guests touch daily. Keeping lamps, restraint parts and a set of figure fittings on site means a fault costs hours rather than a weekend – the same approach we recommend for every carrousel installatie.
