Building the Inspection System
Every ride needs a written schedule with four levels: daily checks before opening, weekly mechanical inspection, monthly torque and lubrication, and an annual structural and electrical review. Assign each task to a named person, record it against the ride number, and keep the log where the operator works rather than in an office. A signed sheet per ride per day is the simplest system that survives a busy season.
What Corrosion Does in a Tropical Park
Humidity attacks fasteners, bearings, electrical connectors and the inside of hollow sections first. Coastal parks see salt accelerated corrosion on anything uncoated, which is why galvanised or stainless fixings and sealed connectors matter more than paint colour. Inspectors and insurers ask the same three questions: what was checked, when, and by whom. Keep the maintenance log, the commissioning records, the electrical schematics and the training attendance sheets together for each ride, and store copies digitally.
