A ferris wheel project is decided long before the first bolt is tightened – it is decided by how the site, the container and the crane are planned.
This is how a completed wheel project in Myanmar ran, from the first layout drawing to the day local staff took over the controls.

All figures are reference values and are confirmed in the engineering proposal for your site. Wheel structures of this type are designed around documented structural load cases, which is why the foundation drawings arrive before fabrication.

The Brief and the Site
The client needed a landmark attraction for a leisure destination with a modest budget for civil works, so wheel height, foundation type and access route were agreed together. Soil conditions and wind load were confirmed before fabrication started, and the access road was measured against the container truck dimensions rather than assumed. Our engineers issued foundation drawings and the anchor bolt layout that the local contractor poured to.
Delivery, Unloading and Assembly
The wheel shipped in sections by container, packed in the assembly sequence so parts came out of the crates in the order the crew needed them. A mobile crane position was agreed in advance, and assembly followed the factory erection sequence with torque values recorded for every structural connection. Working that way, the build goes up in a predictable order instead of solving problems on the day.
Commissioning and First Rides
Commissioning covered electrical checks, drive and brake testing, cabin door locking and a full rotation under load before any guest boarded. Only after those checks were signed off did the wheel open. Operators were trained on the machine itself: start-up, loading discipline, emergency stop and the evacuation procedure, with the same training repeated for a second shift.
What Kept It Running After Handover
The client left with a documented maintenance routine rather than a promise: daily cabin and door checks, weekly drive and brake inspection, and a monthly review of bearings, bolts and corrosion. That schedule, plus a recommended spares list matching our 30m ferris wheel platform, is what keeps a wheel earning for decades in tropical conditions.
What You Can Tailor
The following details are matched to your park: Wheel height, cabin design, lighting program and station layout.
Buying from the factory means dealing with the people who weld the frame and wire the control panel – 20 years of export experience, and a 125,000 square metre facility that produces, tests and container-loads this equipment. Project work includes layout drawings, phased equipment lists and documentation you can hand straight to a local contractor.
Send your plot plan, budget range and target opening date – we will return a phased proposal you can take straight to your board.
